Ducky is an artist who has always shown that the confines of genre mean nothing to them. The eccentric multi-talented DJ, Producer, Singer, Songwriter, and duck liberating extraordinaire has proven their talent since the young age of 13. Using raw emotion and epic production, they have been able to transcend any just one classification or style. Just as massive as their talent is their heart and stage presence, being able to command crowds to also pour their souls out with them and have a good ass time doing it.
Today, Ducky brings us a new single on Spinnin’ Records that’s theme is reminiscent of their “Don’t Give Up” EP. Titled “Don’t Give Up Still”, the track is a heartfelt House anthem that reminds us that if we find ourselves in the trenches of our minds again that we’ll always harness the power to get ourselves out, again and again. In a twitter post, they state “This song is about finding myself back in that old place, battling the same demons, going ‘oh my god, I can’t believe I’m here again’–and finding the strength to keep going once more, recognizing that I’ve always got that capacity for hope, and that as dark as I go, the light never goes out.”
