Producer extraordinaire ill.Gates is back today with an extremely timely new remix. For his newest effort, the Production Dojo founder took on the classic punk rock hit “Fuck Off Nazi Punks” from the Dead Kennedys.
The new remix is a collaboration track with frequent collaborator RIP KENNY. The two made the remix back in 2019 and spent almost a year trying to get in touch with the Dead Kennedys, the song’s original artist. For their filthy new remix, the two artists turn it up to eleven and totally re-work the track into a bass-blasting anthem.
All proceeds to the track will be donated to ACLU to help victims and aid in the fight against justice inequality. Enjoy the new banger from ill.Gates & RIP KENNY and check out what he had to say below!
“I’ve always loved the Dead Kennedys. Their attitude and energy have been a huge influence on me over the years and it’s a dream come true to do this official collaboration. RIP Kenny and I made this remix in 2019 and then spent an ENTIRE YEAR trying to track down the Dead Kennedys to get permission to release it. Jello Biafra (Dead Kennedys frontman) is not a big computer guy, so we had to actually burn a physical CD and mail it in… hilarious. Anyway, Jello eventually listened to it and gave us his blessing for an official release so long as we use the funds to oppose fascism. Sounds good to me.” – ill Gates
