Boulder, Colorado producer and native, SoDown has been making silky tunes for quite a long time. Over the past decade, he has become well known for blending organic instruments with electronic synthesis. His background as a saxophone player is very apparent in all of his work. If there is one thing we know about SoDown, it’s that he isn’t afraid to keep things heavy. This jammy, all-out style has made him a staple for soulful bass music fans.
Today’s release brings all-time energy and feel-good rhythms. “Turn the Lights Out”, begins by gliding into a smooth and dreamy melody. Driving, conquering basslines unleash euphoria without warning. The second drop takes a full-throttle approach, diving deep into neck-breaking basslines.
SoDown recently headlined the Revibe Retreat festival alongside huge names like Mersiv, Manic Focus, Buku, Shlump and more down in Myrtle Beach for a safe, socially distant festival. The event had attendees view the stages from their hotel balconies and even got merch delivered directly to their doors.
This new anthem is released independently via SoDown’s very own GetDown Records. Who else is as excited as we are about this release? Let us know down below, in the comments.
