NotLö has been on an absolute tear as of late. Between joining TRUTH’s Deep, Dark and Dangerous family, opening for the bass queen CloZee and countless bangers released, she is proving to be a real force to be reckoned with in this ever-changing bass music world.

This Saturday night, NotLö is teaming up with Aftershock again for another livestream virtual fundraiser, her NotLö and friends event. Their first team-up was a couple months back and featured an all female lineup including Khiva, A Hundred Drums and many more. That event benefitted RAINN, the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization.

Now, she’s recruiting her DDD label mates and some super talented VJs for round two of her livestream series. The event will benefit the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless. The Mission of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to work collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for families, children, and individuals who are experiencing or at-risk of homelessness throughout Colorado.

Gracing this lineup is NotLö herself, Dalek One b2b Drty Hbtz, Litty Kitter, SkySuite, Shatter, Dredlok, and talented VJs Taylor Drew, Mezmer, Rubikz, Pixel Dust, Blast Off and Creepshow slinging pixels.

We had the pleasure of chatting with NotLo about this weekend’s event and what she has on tap looking forward into 2021. Enjoy our brand new, exclusive interview with the booming up and coming talent below!

HIHF: When did you first start producing electronic music?
Notlö: I started producing in July of 2017 as Kikibeats (LOL), then a few months later my friend bryant suggested my new name since i wanted to take things more seriously 🙂

Who are some of your musical inspirations?
CloZee, TRUTH, Alon Mor, Khiva, and Goopsteppa are my absolute favorites and inspirations.

What drove you to put together the original NotLo and friends event a few months back?
I obviously saw the market to throw live streams and play them during this time, and I wanted more from it. I’ve always wanted to be able to help people and benefit people from my project, because the “NotLö” project from the start was to be so much more than music. I want to do anything possible to help all people feel included, important and safe. Calhoun (a member of the Aftershock team) and I grew up together going to every music festival we could. We always wanted to work in the industry, and the fact we could both come together to put something on to help others was beautiful. So why wouldn’t we do round 2? 🙂

What can we expect from your set this time around?
This set is going to be a lot different. I have a lot of unreleased tracks that are my faves and are going to be showcased for the first time ever on a stream. It’s gonna be a heavy dubstep set that you surely won’t forget. 🙂 it was super hard to not play tracks that are made by the producers I’m playing with too 🙂

Who are a couple of artists who you are listening to right now?
This whole lineup! And the last one. I currently find myself listening to (in addition to the lineups) CloZee, VEIL, CPhlo, Widow, Super Future, WRECKNO, and TRUTH.

Tell us about the ReVibe Retreat, how was playing that socially distant festival?
It was actually put on partly by some of the aftershock team! I have so many amazing things to say about that festival and a team as a whole. It was amazing because they tried to book my entire first live stream I threw with them too. It was an extremely safe event, and I would love them to do this even after this virus dims out! Waking up in a hotel bed, seeing the ocean from your room, and being right at the stages was absolutely INCREDIBLE! Can’t wait to keep working with this family 🙂

What about opening for CloZee in CO? That picture of her surprising you with a birthday cake belongs in the history books.
That was absolutely amazing… I can’t even put into words what that meant to me. The fact that my absolute favorite artist wanted to share the stage with me was priceless. Don’t even get me started how I felt about her bringing me out a cake at the end of the set… just tears of joy. She is so sweet, humble, and caring of a human. The exact role model people need as a musician and human being. I am not a person who separates music from the artist as a human, and she kills both aspects. What’s not to love about CloZee??

There is zero not to love about CloZee. Let’s talk about another industry legend real quick. Is that collaboration you have with Conrank going to be released anytime soon?? The people want it, BADLY!!
I can tell the people want it, which makes me so happy. Conrank and I haven’t planned exactly when it will be released, but i promise it will only get better and you will all be excited for it :))

What would be a dream collaboration for you? It can be with a DJ or a singer/band, or both!
Making music with CloZee or TRUTH.

What’s on tap for 2021 from NotLo?
I can’t say much, but there are some obvious things. Expect some dope releases from me on DDD, and some other HUGE releases next year. I’ve been sitting on these songs for awhile and I’m so excited  for the new year to be approaching so that I can finally release them! I also can’t wait to take on the new year with my amazing new team. I absolutely love David and Mary, and we are ready for the new year for sure.

What do you want your fans to know about the charity stream this weekend?
It’s totally okay if you can’t afford to donate! Please don’t sweat it, I know times are tough with money right now. However tuning in, sharing, and telling your friends, will lead to some donations. I would absolutely love if we reached $1000 like last time! Being able to give to the homeless community here in colorado means a lot. I’ve never lived in a city where you see so many homeless people struggling because of a broken system. Let’s give back if we can and realize how fortunate our lives are, even amongst this terrible pandemic.

Huge thank you to NotLo for chatting with us, keep an ear out for new music from her in the coming months and be sure to support her on socials below.
