Subtronics released his Fractals album early in 2022 and it featured collaborations with GRiZ, Zeds Dead, Boogie T, Sullivan King, and Grabbitz. The album saw tons of success and today, the Cyclops Recordings label head is bringing fans the official follow-up, his joint remix and VIP (variation in production) edit album, ANTIFRACTALS.

The new project features reimaginings of Cyclops Army favorites from some of the hottest names in the dubstep world. Wooli starts things off by teaming up with the track’s original collaborator Grabbitz for a neck-breaking remix of the introductory “Into Pieces.” Next, Virtual Riot brings out all the stops with his energetic remix of album single “Spacetime.”

One of the hottest names in the riddim, or trench, world/sub-genre of dubstep is HOL! and he absolutely delivers with his jaw-dropping rework of the hard-hitting “Tuba Demon.” There are a bunch of more experimental, left-field bass remixes on the project as well, most notably Peekaboo‘s remix of “OPUS,” A Hundred Drums‘ remix of “Flute Dub” and Mr. Bill‘s remix of “Morning Coffee.” Of The Trees also provided an epic remix of  “Hieroglyph.” Here’s what Subtronics had to say about the project as a whole:

‘ANTIFRACTALS’ is the follow-up VIP and remix album to ‘FRACTALS’ which dropped last year. It includes tons of VIPS by me and remixes from some of my favorite artists out there. I’m honored to have so many top-tier producers put their spin on my vision, it really means the world to me, and I’d like to extend a huge thank you to all of them. Over the last year, I have continued to evolve as an artist, so ‘ANTIFRACTALS’ has been an awesome journey for me to refine ‘FRACTALS’ even further. I think I like these versions better than the originals” – Subtronics

His new ANTIFRACTALS album also includes remixes from Kai Wachi, Kompany, Jantsen x Dirt Monkey, Level Up, MUST DIE!, Imanu, and HE$H x Versa, as well as ten VIP edits from Subtronics himself.

Alongside the release, Subtronics is going on tour with some of the hottest names in the industry like Getter, Blanke, Dimension, and tons of artists featured on ANTIFRACTALS. Check out the dates here and let us know where we will see you for this massive dubstep tour.
