Eater is a bass music producer everyone needs to have on their radar. The young up-and-comer has had his tracks played out by names like Zeds Dead, Excision, ATLiens, Space Wizard, Vampa, and loads more dubstep superstars.
Last week, Eater made his debut appearance on one of our favorite labels – Ganja White Night’s Subcarbon Records! For his first EP on the imprint, dubbed Invader, Eater is bringing the firepower!
The opening and title track starts off with a dubious extraterrestrial villain telling listeners to accept their fate. It quickly envelops into an all-out interplanetary crunchy bass weapon.
Following “Invader” is “Annihilation.” Eater does a great job building ominous, sci-fi-inspired intros that set a perfect tone for the madness to come. Employing a filthy array of synths and low-end bass, this hybrid trap tune is sure to get some serious festival playouts this summer.
Next up is “Trial.” It brings an onslaught of heavy bass as the listener gets abducted into the dark clouds above. The drop is a carousel of sounds, the perfect addition to both trap and bass fans’ playlists.
Last on the EP is “Extinction,” our last hurrah against the alien invasion that’s forthcoming. The track serves as an anthem for Earth, a call together of the human masses as we face off against our alien enemies, blasting us away with brutal saws and crisp trap drums.
To piggyback on the success of his brand new Invader EP, Eater just swung by for a HIHF guest mix! He’s joining the likes of Zingara, TYNAN, Ravenscoon, Tape B, VLCN, and tons of other rising star artists who have contributed to our mix series.
