Kaivon Stimulates The Senses In Introspective Single “Do You” [HIHF PREMIERE]

In a blooming symphony of synths, Kaivon reminds listeners of his acute ability to translate raw emotion into an auditory experience in his newest effort, “Do You” as a HeardItHereFirst premiere. A standalone single marked by an intentional message of nostalgia, Kaivon reverts to his roots in creating this cinematic future bass masterpiece.

Like a freshly metamorphosed butterfly, “Do You” opens up with a fluttering ensemble of synths. Detailed by a voicemail message from a female lover interrogating, “Do you think about me?”, Kaivon doesn’t hesitate in opening the floodgates to his digital world of lush, layered chord progressions. A syncopated melodic bass line nestled on a bed of ambient pads curates an ethereal impression that infectiously conjures up an overwhelming feeling of yearn in listeners.

Through his saturated synths and stuttered percussion that simulates a heartbeat, Kaivon not only brings listeners along for the ride, but challenges the blurred line between the sonic and emotional worlds that seamlessly collide in “Do You”. A testament to his core message, fans old and new can resonate with this sentimental yet harmonic release from Kaivon and we are honored to premiere it here at HeardItHereFirst!

Here is what Kaivon had to say about his luscious new single, “Do You”:

“It’s a weird feeling missing someone who’s no longer in your life. You carry them in the little things like a song that plays at the wrong time, a place that holds too many memories, or a random thought that sneaks up on you when you least expect it. But the part that hits the hardest isn’t just missing them, it’s wondering if they ever feel the same. If their mind ever drifts back to you, even for a second. I wrote “Do You” sitting in that feeling. It’s not about closure, or moving on, or even getting answers. It’s just about that question that sits quietly in the back of your mind, long after they’re gone. Maybe you’ve felt it too.”Kaivon

As a timestamp of this Valentine’s Day release, fans can expect to catch Kaivon at The Marquis in Utah tomorrow, February 15th!
