Heard It Here First

It’s no surprise to anyone on here that I am a diehard fan of everything Deep Dark & Dangerous, and I am absolutely beyond psyched to announce that HIHF will be covering November 7th Truth B2B Distinct Motive presented by Rezinate at Middle East Nightclub in Cambridge, MA. Arrive early, as the supporting acts are bringing some serious heat to warm up the room. Terraphorm and Kreesay are two of my favorite up-and-coming producers putting out banger after banger with each and every show and release. These are two artists with some heavy artillery stocked up that you won’t want to miss!

For those who don’t know, Truth consists of two members who make up the label heads of the famed Deep Dark & Dangerous music label. Originating in New Zealand, this powerhouse duo has made a massive international brand for themselves. The November 7th show in Boston is an extra special one, though. While most Truth performances in the US showcase Dre, Boston is blessed with a rare show with Tristan. Tristan lives all the way across the globe in New Zealand, so it’s safe to say he’s going to have tons up his sleeve for this show.

Distinct Motive has been a staple member of DDD for years now. He’s had countless head-knocking releases on the esteemed label like “Blueberry,” “F Class,” “Radar,” and “No Mercy.” Not only is he a master of his craft in production, but he also curates incredible sets for his fans at every performance.

If you are in the Denver area, on November 1st, Deep Dark & Dangerous will be hosting a massive takeover at the legendary Mission Ballroom with a Truth headlining set with supporting acts Mala, Joker, STYLUST B2B Wraz., Hypho B2B ColtCuts, and CØNTRA B2B Athena. If you missed out last year, then you know this is one of the best shows of the year!

Not only will Truth and Distinct Motive be playing a back-to-back performance, but each artist is scheduled for a one-hour solo set, making for a truly unforgettable night.
