Breakout garage powerhouse Neumonic has officially launched Nawty Records, a UKG label dedicated to pushing the genre forward and highlighting some of the most next-level rising talent out there. The label’s debut arrived in full swing, with the release of thirteen tunes from both American and UK artists, and the feedback across the scene has been overwhelmingly positive!
The compilation of tracks released on Nawty Records is “Rave Station Vol. 1,” and it features a fresh mix of UKG styles. You can expect rhythmic 2-step heaters and club-forward four on the floor tunes designed to keep the room moving.
Neumonic has channeled his love for UK garage into helping propel the genre throughout the U.S. He has made outstanding efforts to keep UK garage thriving here across the pond, and now he’s taking it to the next level with his label launch! The forward-thinking artist has been on a nonstop rise, delivering standout releases and collabs with phenoms like Mary Droppinz and Seth Francis. He’s performed in front of massive crowds at festivals like Lightning in a Bottle and Lost Lands. Neumonic is the kind of artist who seeks something bigger than his own project. He’s been involved with community building and promoting throughout California, and now he’s taking on the huge project of launching his own record label!
The first collection of releases from Nawty Records, “Rave Station Vol. 1,” features some of the most cutting-edge producers, like ANIMATE, FSHR, Hypho, Liot, and more! The compilation is packed with heaters, as each track carries its own energy with rolling basslines and rhythmic beats that will have you catching a vibe.
Neumonic’s latest collab with Morty & Melvin, “Little Bitta This,” debuted alongside the compilation, and you need to check it out. With an epic vocal flow and punchy drums, it’s playful and carries the underground energy we love. Another favorite of mine had to be “Polaris,” by 1997, with its filthy, experimental basslines and edgy sound design. There are so many insane tunes on this compilation, so do yourself a favor and go listen ASAP.
Nawty Records is more than just a record label. It’s a movement dedicated to spreading the culture and sounds of UKG across the nation. So many emerging artists will benefit from Nawty Records, gaining a platform to showcase their talent and attract new audiences to their projects. Neumonic’s launch of Nawty Records is truly admirable, and we can’t wait to see what’s next for the label! We’ll be sure to keep you updated as the drop more releases.
