Wraz And CØNTRA Collide For New Bassrush-Assisted Two Tracker “Rude Sound Culture”

Wraz and CØNTRA are two of the heaviest hitters in the deep dubstep world. If you’re a dubstep fan and either act are on a lineup, and you missed their set, that’s going in the festival mistake hall of fame.

Wraz has made a name for himself creating pristine and unique bass soundscapes, weaving in inspirations from halftime, DnB, experimental, and grime stylings. He’s become a staple of TRUTH‘s fan-favorite Deep, Dark, and Dangerous label and has worked with dubstep goliaths like Distinct Motive, INFEKT, Hypho, Khiva, and of, course, NZ dubstep dons TRUTH themselves.

CØNTRA hones in on utilizing organic sounds, seamlessly merging world bass textures with live instrumentation like violin and guitar. He’s collabed with Chef Boyarbeatz, Pushloop, and The Widdler and has played festivals like Shambhala, Sound Haven, and Apocalypse: Zombie Land.

Today, the two are teaming up for a diabolical new two tracker titled “Rude Sound Culture.” Coming to us through Bassrush Records, each tune perfectly encapsulates that iconic deep dubstep, 140 sound. With heavy hitting bass flutters that shake the listener to their core and crystal clear grime inspirations, Wraz and CØNTRA are a match made in dubstep ‘rudeboy’ heaven.
