Fresh off a genre bending collaboration with Slushii, ever-growing artist Kaivon is here with a heavy dose of dub to close out 2019.

In an explosive year for the budding producer, including an entirely sold out headlining tour, Kaivon demonstrated an innovative mind for the genre through numerous original, solo ventures. His catalog has blended a multitude of genre influences from around the electronic community into a versatile, narratively-driven sound that is reflected in the latest track, “Heads,” as much as his discography at large.

“Heads” opens with fast-paced, nightmarish synths over a bouncing trap beat that quickly transforms into a much more traditional dubstep piece. Bursting in at the first drop are various industrial – and perhaps automotive – sounds that send the percussive, head-banging track barreling into the ears of its audience.

We’re looking forward to another impressive year from Kaivon in 2020! What was your favorite release of his this year? Let us know in the comments!
