Cristina Soto Revisits Her Illenium & Said The Sky Collab With Chilling New Acoustic Version of “Painted White”

Austin-based singer/songwriter Cristina Soto recently unveiled an acoustic rendition of her Tritonal collaboration, “Still With Me”, as she used to serve as the original official vocalist for the progressive duo. The insanely talented vocalist plays multiple instruments and is trained in opera, jazz, musical theater, and gospel vocals.

Today, she’s bringing fans another highly anticipated acoustic version of one of her biggest hits, “Painted White”, released on Gravitas Recordings, alongside EDM superstars Illenium and Said The Sky. This new acoustic version brings new life to the emotional anthem and is a great revisit of the original track.

“‘Painted White’ stemmed from observing worldly conflict and bringing it down to a deeply interpersonal point of view, We are all both righteous and innocent in our minds about the choices we make, even if they are biased and unfair to others. We can also grow from surrendering, which is tied to the white dove / flag of peace in my mental imagery.” – Cristina Soto

Illenium is fresh off the release of his massive Angels and Airwaves collaborations, “Paper Thin”, and Said The Sky is in the studio cooking up new music that hopefully we will hear soon!

Let us know what you thought of Soto’s new rendition of “Painted White” below in the comments!
