Black Carl! has been quickly rising the ranks of the electronic music world. His track record of high-profile gigs includes going on tour with the likes of Of The Trees and Zingara and playing iconic venues like Red Rocks Amphitheater and Electric Forest’s Sherwood Forest. His awe-inspiring side project Integrate, in collaboration with close friend VCTRE, shows off a different side of his insane production chops, and they have become a highly coveted live act as well, on top of the duo’s individual successes as solo artists.
Carl is well-known for his live sets. You’ll find very few artists who work harder to capture the crowd’s attention and energy. But he’s also made a name for himself with his impressive catalog of releases, whether it’s his originals or collaborations with fellow rising star talents like Player Dave, Saka, or Molokai.
Following the recent release of his prior single “sorry for the wait,” a chilling downtempo soundscape, Black Carl! returns with tons of momentum to his fans with his newest track “Move.” Set to be a cut off of his upcoming debut album of the same name, this tune breaks all the rules and expectations of what an electronic composition ‘should’ be. Accompanied by hypnotic guitar plucks, “Move” quickly distorts itself methodically into an all-out bass-face-inducing festival anthem. It’s certain to make its rounds as a festival favorite this summer and we can’t to see it dropped on a proper speaker system.
