Veteran dubstep producer Soltan is back today with a fresh new tune titled “Masyaf” produced with his signature Middle Eastern-influenced trap and bass sounds. SLANDER & NGHTMRE’s Gud Vibrations welcomes back this talented artist as he prepares to release his upcoming EP.

“Masyaf” is an adventure of a track, as it blends the realms of trap, dubstep, and speed house throughout the listening journey. This one is truly genre-defying and creates a whirlwind of excitement for the forthcoming EP release. The tune opens up with a mysterious vibe followed by drum beats that lead to rap vocals. This wild combination of intense speed house and roaring bass makes “Masyaf” the perfect anthem to get festival crowds moving.

Soltan is well known for creating some of the most well-known sample packs and sounds in the dubstep game, providing an array of global sounds through his creations.

We are hyped to see him link up with SLANDER & NGHTMRE’s Gud Vibration label. Here’s what Soltan had to say about his newest work and the inspiration behind “Masyaf”:

“‘Masyaf’ is inspired by the famous Masyaf castle in Syria, which was the second base of Assassins after Alamut was invaded by the Mongol Empire. I took the mysterious and nostalgic approach with writing the intro and then infused it with raw and underground energy of speed house and dubstep in the drop. I’m so excited for people to hear the second installment of the official ‘Dustinations’ EP… more to come soon!” – Soltan

Interested in catching one of his upcoming shows? Over the months ahead, Soltan has a few tour stops across the United States. He just played a show in Tempe, AZ, as support for CYCLOPS, who he’ll be joining again this weekend in Buffalo, NY. He will be supporting STONED LEVEL on the Bass Boat in NYC. In October, Soltan will be the headliner for his own event in Minneapolis, MN, set to be a 360-degree experience at The Skyway Theatre, you won’t want to miss it!
