Emi Veliz, better known to the bass music arena as Yoko, has been on an absolute tear over the past few years. Quickly becoming a favorite of VEIL’s Street Ritual label and garnering huge releases on CloZee’s Odyzey Records and Mersiv’s MorFlo Records, she is already connecting with some of the biggest names in dubstep.
In 2024, she supported MorFlo label head Mersiv for his Red Rocks performance, garnering Yoko a slew of new listeners and fans. For 2025, she is set to hit the road with Daily Bread for his Flash Flood tour alongside fellow rising star names like Maddy O’Neal, Lumasi, Josh Teed and more.
We’ve always been fans of Yoko’s, even before she hopped on our guest mix series in 2023, and before she performed at one of our Cabin Fever fundraisers back in 2021. Her production prowess is ever-impressive and on full display in each awe-inspiring potion of a track that she concocts and spreads to the masses.
