Heard It Here First

Miilk is a rising star DJ team that creates gnarly bass music that melds with hip-hop stylings, self-dubbing the sound ‘bass-hop.’ Coming up, the production duo will be performing at two homie festivals that seriously resonate with our Heard It Here First family.

Next weekend, they’re playing Big Fam fest, a Michigan music and arts festival that’s been a staple of the Midwest bass scene over the past years. They’ll be performing on Saturday, alongside Saka, Sully, Super Future, Zen Selekta, Ashez, Benji Robot, Jason Leech, and headliner LYNY.

In October, Miilk will be performing at GRiZ‘s comeback festival, Seven Stars, after his multi-year hiatus. GRiZ hand-selected the lineup himself, so it’s incredible seeing the boys get the cosign from the legend himself.

Today, we’ve got Miilk on board for the HIHF guest mix series. For volume 142, they’re bringing a cavalcade of original bangers for our listening pleasure. It also includes collabs with fellow Seven Stars performer K+Lab as well as remixes for Hip-Hop legends like KRS-One and Method Man. Here’s what they had to say about the new mix for Heard It Here First:
