Of The Trees Recruits EARTHGANG For Highly-Anticipated Collab ‘Look Into My Eyes’

Of The Trees just dropped “Look Into My Eyes,” a genre-defying collaboration with EARTHGANG. Following his recent release of the highly anticipated “Dolori,” the Denver-based producer and visual artist is keeping the anticipation building for his forthcoming album, Moonglade Park. “Look Into My Eyes,” released on Of The Trees’ label Memory Palace, is a masterful fusion comprised of the artists’ visionary and groovy sound.

The song was first debuted live in Atlanta, and then made a big splash when EARTHGANG was brought onto the mainstage as a surprise guest during Of The Tree’s iconic Electric Forest headline set. The track starts off hot, getting right into it with Of The Trees’s trademark nature-inspired bass and EARTHGANG’s hard-hitting lyrics. With sounds ranging from bird tweets to blaring horns, “Look Into My Eyes” is yet another boundary-pushing banger added to both artists’ discographies.

Tyler Coombs is a producer and visual artist from Maine who combines his knack for telling stories through multiple mediums into the Of The Trees project. He is known for innovative, low-end design and influences from numerous genres, spanning from dubstep to trap to hip-hop. Of The Trees creates soundscapes in his music, weaving together synths, percussion, melodies, and nature-centric sounds to create a rich, immersive experience for his listeners, and this shines through in “Look Into My Eyes”

The artist is also diabolical in his live performances, controlling crowds with his unique sonic energy and expertly crafted flow. He’s captivated audiences at iconic venues like Red Rocks, Salt Shed, The Hollywood Palladium, The BayCare Sound, and Brooklyn Paramount, and has put together unbelievable sets at festivals like Electric Forest, The Valley of the Seven Stars, and recently at his own curated multi-day event, Camp Alderwild. EARTHGANG is a GRAMMY-nominated hip-hop duo comprised of Olu (Johnny Venus) and WowGr8 (DocturDot). Coming from Atlanta, the group has been putting its mark on the genre from day one. Their tracks are cutting-edge sonic compositions full of poetic philosophies and social commentary. The duo was signed to the Dreamville label in 2017 and had collaborated with many big names in the hip-hop genre, like J. Cole, Young Thug, Curren$y, Wiz Khalifa, and CeeLo Green. They also started a nonprofit in 2023 called the EARTHGANG Foundation, which is a climate advocacy and environmental injustice-focused organization. When asked about “Look Into My Eyes,” EARTHGANG had this to say:

“It’s been a lot of fun working with Of The Trees on this record. This record is one we think is an example of true collaboration. We both brought something from our worlds that created something fresh that we believe both of our fans will enjoy.”

“Look Into My Eyes” is another brick in Moonglade Park’s musical and visual foundation. Both this track and “Dolori” have music videos that debuted alongside the releases, which add depth to the already intricate story woven by Of The Trees. “Look Into My Eyes” pulls influence from both artists, melding bass and hip-hop soul to create a tune that transports listeners into a different realm. The track is a bass barrage, with a bumpin’ rhythm and an iconic cadence. “Look Into My Eyes” can be a part of any vibe or setting, whether it be a chill session by the campfire or an energetic summer day. We at HIHF can’t wait to see what else Of The Trees has up his sleeve.
