Heard It Here First

MEMBA had a highly prolific year in 2019, with their visual and audio project ‘SAGA-II,’ playing Bonnaroo and ODESZA’s Sundara Music Festival in Mexico, and amassing well over 12 million streams. Their 2019 EP was released through EDM goliaths’ Foreign Family collective, which is where today’s release is also coming from.

“We wrote this with our UK based friend Levus Alone. We’ve been writing with him for a long time. We recorded the vocals for this about 4 years ago while he worked at a Bingo in Leeds. The instrumental came together a lot later. We don’t know what he’s up to these days. He’s been hard to reach. But he’s one of the most talented people we’ve worked with and he really does like to be left alone. We’re really excited to play this one in our upcoming headline tour. We have something really special planned for it.”

The duo is gearing up for a deeply personal tour come Springtime. Their cinematic live experience is sure to highlight the many reasons these up and comers are destined for stardom.

“We’ve been waiting for the chance to put on our own immersive show since we started MEMBA in 2015. Everything we’ve been doing has been leading up to this tour. We’ve built brand new instruments, inflatable eggs – that’s all we can say. We’re trying to put together an experience unlike you’ve ever seen before. We’ll be bringing special guests, characters, a giant puppet and more. We’re excited to show everyone what our project is really about.”
