Dreamy electronic artist Slow Magic teases his upcoming Closer 2 U EP with latest single “Somewhere.”

On the heels of his single “Home,” Slow Magic looks to the horizon in the joint venture with dream pop artist Woven in Hiatus. “Somewhere” also employs production talents of electronic pop mogul Shallou in addition to Slow Magic.

After embarking on tour alongside Shallou in 2019, Slow Magic stands out in the collaborative, effervescent soundscape of “Somewhere.” Staccato synths trail through the slow building track’s methodically clean sound balanced by distant, wistful vocals from Woven in Hiatus.

Promoting his previous project Dreams, the tour brought the two together for this ethereally inevitable track. The upcoming EP differentiates itself from its predecessor in its reflections upon the emotionality of struggles amidst modern global crises.

With Closer 2 U set to release August 19th via Moving Castle, Slow Magic had the following to say about the forthcoming release:
