We hosted Xotix (pronounced ‘exotics’) earlier in 2021 for our HIHF guest mix series and they’ve been on a roll ever since. Following the guest mix, the self-proclaimed bass music boy band linked up with Secret Recipe for their Rabbithole EP off one of the most successful labels in Dubstep, Bassrush.

Today, the NorCal trio is returning to fans with a diabolical new EP, packed with five new bass bangers. Each of which brings something different to the table; crunchy beats, copious energy, and dubious, wall-breaking bass.

The final tune, “Heart Attack”, brings aboard fellow west coast producer Dalfin as a collaborator. It’s a killer track that features hip-hop vocals and wallopping, gross, dripping bass.

The Fresh EP is another testament to Xotix’s production prowess. These three have a massive future ahead of them, moving up and out of the underground, and it’s clear with every release they unleash on their quickly growing fanbase.
