Leotrix is making his debut on pro-gamer Jericho‘s Night Mode label! The label has hosted names like Knock2, Moore Kismet, Subshock & Evangelos, Pauline Herr, Slippy, and loads of other talented producers in such a short time, as they only just celebrated their first birthday as a collective.
For Leotrix, this follows his bass centric Visions Of The Leo EP, off the esteemed Dubstep imprint Disciple. It released earlier in 2021 and today the Australian superstar producer is back!
On this two-track “Honesty Trax” EP, Leotrix shows off his production prowess in any genre he decides to touch. We know he’s capable of making complex Future Riddim bangers, as well as traditional Dubstep classics. Today, he’s dabbling with both Bass House and Future Bass. Leotrix shared with his fans on socials that these tunes have been in the works for almost two years and they’re finally getting unleashed.
On “brief grip of creation”, Leotrix toys with some booming Bass House. He’s already gained exposure and support from big Dubstep names like Excision and Zeds Dead, but we are ecstatic to see which House artists discover him from this infectious banger.
Following up on the Bass House effort, Leotrix combines stylings of Future Riddim, Traditional Trap, and Future Bass on “this track vs. my laptop fan”. It’s a perfect fit for his exploratory sound and reminds us of something from Future Riddim lord Oolacile or even from the EDM Trap god himself, RL Grime. We can’t wait to see what’s in store next for Leotrix! It’s clear this young artist has a massive future ahead of him.
