Jeffo Shatzen, better known to the music world as WHOM?, emerges from the depths of Atlanta with an evocative and alluring portal of sound waves. He is pure, he is raw, and he is undeniably up next.

WHOM? smashes genre boundaries as he conveys his sexy sound design through nostalgic remedies and minimalistic bass. The producer has secured his space in the scene by aiming for the waist with music that leaves you sweating on the dancefloor and shaking those hips nonstop.

Recently, WHOM? has put a name to his evocative experience from his recently released hit, “Twisted”. He also appeared on Wreckno‘s PANSY EP with a synergetic, bussy-boppin’ collaboration, “FREAKNIK”. Both tunes gave us a taste of what to expect on WHOM?’s debut.

Today, WHOM? delivers his comprehensive, debut album, “Shibari”. Giving us six brand-new tracks, WHOM? pays homage to all things 140 BPM with his eclectic variety of meshed, electronic subgenres. The album also features collaborations with Wreckno, Aptic, Grayskale, and Strategy Ki.

He starts the journey of “Shibari” with “System”, an introduction to the depths with authentic bass wubs and radiating synths. “Gak Smoovie”, “Listen”, and title track “Shibari” all unleash vivacious soundscapes with animated vocal chops and unique flow patterns. Each track is a treat to the mind, body, and soul.

“Bop It”, featuring Aptic and Wreckno, switches up the tempo, bringing a buoyant festival anthem into the mix. “S T R E T C H” with Grayskale and Strategy Ki is another joint collaboration that takes you for a ride, with shifting rhythms and spatial undertones.

“Twisted” and “Covenant” are the two distinctive singles unveiled in 2021 and were the power-surge of complexion that was created for Shibari. Here’s what WHOM? himself had to say about “Shibari”:

“‘Shibari’ is my take on 140 dubstep and an exploration into the more nostalgic sounds that made me fall in love with electronic music. It has these very gentle moments, as well as very rough aggressive moments and that’s more of a call back to the inspiration behind naming the album ‘Shibari’. I truly believe there’s a track on this project for everyone – fan of electronic music or not.” – WHOM?
