When we think of rising stars in dance music, capshun immediately comes to mind. Based in Dallas, capshun is a stellar producer who is not bound to one subgenre. He fuses trap, future bass, hip-hop, and more to create soothing beats for anyone’s playlist.

There’s no limit as to how far capshun can go, as his creative sounds have already garnered support from big names such as What So Not, Boombox Cartel, and San Holo. He also runs and curates the up-and-coming label Bonsai Collective, which we’ve covered multiple times here at HIHF.

Today, capshun teams up with Slow Roast Records to deliver a new track “Push Me Away”. This track is different from what he normally produces. While his sound is still intact, capshun goes the drum ‘n bass route on this one. The results are absolutely heavenly!

capshun begins “Push Me Away” with supersonic soundscapes and soothing vocals. It’s as captivating of an intro as you can get. Within seconds, capshun unleashes one of the craziest DnB drops of the yhear. Aggressive drums and gorgeous synths combine for an adventure like none other. capshun is sure to draw you in with a multitude of different sounds and blows your mind one thousand times over.

If capshun can produce drum ‘n bass, he can absolutely produce any subgenre of EDM and knock it out of the ballpark. “Push Me Away” is an exceptionally creative tune to keep you at the edge of your seats. Here’s what he had to say:
