The budding artist has remixed huge names in the past like ZHU, Tchami, The Chainsmokers, Elephante, ARMNHMR, and tons more, putting his own spin on their classic tracks. Now, he is back with a vicious new single of his own.

Today’s release is the first single off his upcoming debut album, “Hold Back My Heart”, featuring a beautifully vibrant vocal effort courtesy of Mercedes. The dance-pop track brilliantly fuses elements of both progressive and deep house alongside dark pop and is a perfect addition to your pregame playlist, certain to get the people moving.

The slapping new tune emphasizes an impressive side of Kharfi’s production prowess. It’s clear this young up-and-comer has a big future ahead of him and we can’t wait to see what’s next on his debut album. Here’s what Kharfi had to say about “Hold Back My Heart:”

“Hold Back My Heart” is the main single from my debut album “AQUARIUM,” which will be released in January 2022. I teamed up with Mercedes, a young and talented songwriter from Hicksville, NY. The goal is to create a vision for those Dance tracks who are also very deeply emotional, with dark pitched vocals and sad chords. – Kharfi
