Ginseng and Shatter are two rising artists in the bass world, each bringing their own unique soundscapes and emotions to their creations. Ginseng has a wide discography of ethereal, nature-infused tracks as well as half-time goodness, while Shatter is known for his more heavy-leaning bangers. Each tastemaker has their own unique sound and style and they continuously bring new things to the underground. So what better way to show off those styles than to combine them together? This is exactly what they did in their collaboration “Fight The Struggle.”

The emotions poured into this track are one I know we can all relate to throughout the trials and tribulations of life. Everything is a journey and Ginseng and Shatter do an incredible job of telling that story through the elements of “Fight The Struggle.” Life is never easy and we all have moments that try to break us down, but finding the ability to persevere to find the light is a beautiful, imperative thing. The different energetic sections found in “Fight The Struggle” feel like each leg of those journeys, through the trials and tribulations of each of our struggles.

Shatter and Ginseng’s takes on production play perfectly together in this track and remind us to stay true to ourselves no matter what. If we can break those barriers and expectations of society and “Fight The Struggle” together, we will all come out on top. The different blends of half-time and drum and bass genres are infused and placed perfectly throughout the track. This keeps the energy going and keeps listeners wondering what’s to come next. Friends and fans of these two have been waiting for this filthy collab’s release for a while, and it was certainly well worth the wait. If these artists aren’t on your radar yet, we simply do not know what to tell you.
