Levity, a trio of forward-thinking producers, has solidified its reputation for producing music that knows no bounds nor genre. Their sounds and sets weave through subgenres effortlessly, creating an auditory experience that is as exhilarating as it is unique. From the thumping depths of bass to the euphoric heights of melody, Levity crafts sonic landscapes that take listeners on unforgettable journeys.

The serendipitous chain of events that led to Levity’s Deadbeats partnership began with a simple comment. Deadbeats, the renowned label curated by the iconic duo Zeds Dead, stumbled upon their unreleased track “The Deep” in one of Levity’s videos. Little did anyone know, that comment would set in motion a series of events that would change the trajectory of Levity’s career.

Seizing the moment, Levity took to Instagram with a masterstroke move – they crafted a brilliant reel. This reel was more than just a showcase of their unreleased music; it was a passionate petition to Deadbeats. With the help of fans, Levity received the news they had been hoping for – they were officially part of the Deadbeats family.

“The Deep” marks a milestone in Levity’s career as it introduces their first-ever release in the realm of dubstep. The track showcases their innovative sound design, with an intricate tapestry of textures, pulsating basslines, and mesmerizing synths. Beyond its intricacies, the track boasts an impeccable flow that propels the listener through the auditory journey.

Levity just played a pop-up show at Electric Forest earlier this summer, where they dropped both this and their infectious Alt-J “breezeblocks” remix. We included that remix in our brand new Sunday Soundcloud Spotlight series, which you can peep here. Also, be sure to check out the HIHF guest mix Levity threw down on a few years back.
