VibeSquad is a name that needs no introduction, he’s been a staple of the bass world for years. Over the course of his career, he’s crafted unique, aesthetically pleasing frequencies and brought a fresh flavor to each and every project. His vast discography of releases speaks for itself, with tracks that span genres and break any barriers of what might be considered the norm of bass music.

VibeSquaD has always been a true innovator, continually pushing the envelope with each and every creation. This is true once more, on his latest ten-track album titled Squadrangle, a release that truly exemplifies everything that makes up the VibeSquaD project. Throughout the exploration of the album, fans can expect a variety of flavors, vibrant tempos, and frequencies.

Earlier last week, VibeSquaD gave fans a taste of what was to come, with the album’s opening track Tusks, which consisted of warm layers and a beat that’s sure to get dancefloors grooving. While this did seem to set the tone for what to expect, after listening to the album’s entirety, there were so many more stylings to be found within.

Whether it’s tracks like “Alfalfasaurus,” or “FloppyDisk,” Squadrangle brings an unbeatable energy throughout, highlighting his distinctive production abilities.

Then, there’s“Skip Swensen,” which has these warm undertones mixed amongst a slower, smooth beat and elements that feel playful and silly. VibeSquaD’s rich, sonic palette can be heard throughout this album, and every track is absolutely pleasing to the senses. That sensory goodness reminds us of the uniqueness he continuously brings to the bass music community.

Whether you choose to listen to Squadrangle on headphones, a home system, or, if you’re lucky enough, a fat system at a venue, the music will all still hit just as hard on every level. VibeSquad allows everyone to enjoy his music just the same, no matter how you hear it.
