In 2021, Knock2 unleashed one of the hottest songs in recent years with the release of “dashstar*”. Today, we are thrilled to present the San Diego-based producer’s refreshing VIP treatment of his hit single.

Knock2 continues to shine in 2022. Following his debut Red Rocks performance supporting NGHTMRE‘s DRMVRSE show, Knock2 then played EDC Las Vegas as part of an epic NIGHTMODE takeover. He then kept the excitement and momentum going by announcing his debut headlining show in LA, “ROOM202”. This sold out event was the latest milestone in Knock2’s young, yet stacked career and looked absolutely WILD!

Knock2’s tracks continue get better and better with each release and “dashstar* VIP” is no exception. After a familiar, yet cinematic take on the intro and buildup, we are soon reintroduced to that catchy lead that loops as sort of a fake-out, before building up once again into an epic, refreshing serving of the original version.

Not only does the drop feel more powerful than the original (which I did not think was possible), but Knock2 still maintains cleanliness throughout the song, allowing each sound and group to thrive. As we cross the midway point of Summer 2022, expect to hear this reinvigorated anthem to heat up dance floors and festival crowds across the country.
