The long-awaited moment has arrived as the release of a new UK garage tune is finally out via 3000 Bass! Crafted by the dynamic duo of Fantom Freq and Eric Mark, the track titled “Wicked Sound” features the legendary Dread MC on a high-energy groove that is sure to get the crowd jumping.
With both producers hailing from Los Angeles, the duo has been making massive waves in the underground house music scene collaborating on several different tracks and even releasing them on some notable record labels such as Bite This!, Cats & Boots, In/Rotation, Psycho Disco, and Terminal Underground. Fantom Freq has also started his own label Thiccfreqness to provide a much-needed heavier sound to the house scene. You can also find several collaborations between the two on Thiccfreqness as well.
“Wicked Sound” is on track to be an instant classic, gaining recognition early on when it was showcased by bass house legend Dr.Fresch on Caller ID. The track was also pre-released through UKF, adding to the hype for this massive tune. Becoming a fan favorite early on, this release has been highly anticipated, and for good reason! Throughout the song, the lyrics “wickedest sound, about to get down” are paired with a heavy bass line and groovy drums that give the track an infectious energy that is hard to forget.
