Heard It Here First

Pittsburgh native Lavier had a breakout year in 2023. The underground champion delivered the heat year-round with releases on labels including The Widdfam, Wormhole Music Group, Sweet Sounds, and Wubaholics. On top of that, he served up self-released tracks coming every month to his Bandcamp subscribers. Lavier proved he brings his production swag to the live setting with debut festival appearances at The Untz, Sound Haven, and Elements Music Festival this past summer.

Riding the momentum into 2024, Lavier started off the year with the release of heavy hitters “END ALL BE ALL // FUCK OFF.” The newest set of tunes from Lavier are filthy dubstep anthems and a different direction for the Pittsburgh artist as these are strictly energy-flinging stompers made for the dancefloor. Along with the release, Lavier is dropping fifty limited-edition cassette tapes with exclusive download codes for END ALL BE ALL and FUCK OFF through his Bandcamp, which can be purchased here. Here’s what he had to say about the new release:

“These are two of the most ignorant tracks in my catalog, both of which were written from a very “for the dancefloor” approach rather than from a particularly emotional place. I tend to be surgical and reserved in my production, so I tried to change things up and resist the fear of going “too hard” on these tracks and just really let the intensity shine through. From the track titles down to the sludgy nature of the songs, this is a “gun fingers in the air, no fucks given” type of project that I hope will serve as a nice uptick in energy to kick off this year’s Lavier releases.” – Lavier 

Lavier is off to a busy start in 2024 with several upcoming shows. Up next is a headlining show in Orlando, Florida followed by stops in Tampa, Florida, and Baltimore, Maryland this weekend. Later in February, he joins Murkury for their Worlds Collide Tour with stops in Denver and Asheville.
