Coming in hot fresh off his collaboration with the hypnotic bass phenom Rezz, Digital Ethos has just released another heater titled “Flip The Track,” which seriously shakes things up.

The Philadelphia-based producer has crafted his unique sound since 2015, elevating a recognizable experimental style with bass-bending textures and transcendental tones. His boundary-pushing projects that blend bass and hip-hop have landed on major stages including Electric Forest, Lights All Nights, Escape, Red Rocks, and Shambhala.

With releases on iconic labels such as Wakaan and Bassrush, Digital Ethos has carved his own mark into the world of dubstep and bass music, collaborating with some huge names throughout his career. His 2024 is starting off booked and busy with set dates this spring playing support for Rezz’s album shows at The Phoenix Raceway and The Brooklyn Mirage, and also performing with deep dubstep dons Truth in Philadelphia.

Today’s new single is a mold-breaking hybrid of distortive bass, trap, and breakbeats. Starting with ominous reverberations, the track takes listeners to an alternate reality with its gritty vibrations and dissonant drops. The warped vocals and choppy snares lure the beat to a faster pace as the song speeds up for a second round of pure filth.

Out now on Rezz’s label, HypnoVision, “Flip The Track,” is a true sound system behemoth that will inevitably induce the nastiest of bass faces. Digital Ethos has honed in on his artistry and production skills, crafting a divergent approach to bass music. This single showcases his growing ability to generate different, revolutionary soundscapes and experiment with a wide range of sub-genres. Here’s what the talented producer had to say about his newest work:

“My new song ‘FLIP THE TRACK’ is one of my more sought after dubplates from the last two years. Finally finding a home with none other than HypnoVizion, this song stylistically falls in line with my older works, resembling the classic eerie space bass that the Digital Ethos project got recognition for when I first started producing. I think those elements of this track are what resonate with me most.” – Digital Ethos
