Michal Menert Releases His Newest Single “At Your Feet" Following Ogden Theater Headline

Michal Menert, well-known for his time with Pretty Lights, is gearing up with new music for 2025. His latest single, “At Your Feet (feat. Matt van den Heuvel)“ unleashes a spellbinding soundscape that brings his signature style to the forefront. Michal Menert is known for fusing vintage vinyl samples, analog synths, and hip-hop elements within his music.

Menert, born in Poland and based in Colorado, absorbed many musical influences. His solo career continually pushes creative limits with rich, immersive compositions. On stage, Menert is a powerhouse. Whether leading Michal Menert & The Pretty Fantastics or conducting The Michal Menert Big Band, his live performances are always unforgettable.

As a co-creator of the electronic supergroup Pretty Lights alongside the legendary Derek Smith, Michal Menert’s return to the band in 2023 was a monumental moment. After a long hiatus, he reunited with the group for their comeback performance on August 4th, 2023, at Mission Ballroom in Denver ahead of the subsequent comeback tour.

Michal Menert thrives in artistic union, working with artists like Manic Focus (Manic Menert) and Paul Basic (Half Color). He has also lent his skills to Dead & Co tours and co-produced Mickey Hart’s RAMU album. Another one of our favorite projects from Menert is his Wooden Flowers side project, alongside Adam Tenenbaum, aka Giant Metal Crickets. Their album“Goldtrails“ was released in 2024 and is a favorite among the community.

Michal Menert’s collaborative spirit is on full display in his latest groove, “At Your Feet,” where he works with artist Matt Van Den Heuvel. This new track exemplifies his signature, genre-bending sound. Drawing inspiration from psychedelic rock, jazz, hip-hop, and funk, he seamlessly blends these influences into an emotional groove-heavy jam. The track’s intricate sound design features chopped vocal loops, brass & string arrangements, and subtle flute accents, showcasing his elaborate production style.

Menert recently played a headline show at Denver’s fan-favorite Ogden Theater earlier on in February. Thrown and produced by AEG Rocky Mountain, this show also featured “At Your Feet” collaborator Matt Van Den Heuvel on guitar, as well as Indiana drummer/producer/composer Richard “Sleepy” Floyd on drums.

On visual duties was Ozwvld for Michal Menert’s set with a guest collab appearance by Cybernautics, with Quantum FX on lights and lasers and Nexus Productions creating an incredible atmosphere for the evening! All in attendance felt this truly magical night, and Menert’s soul and musical inspirations echoed through the venue and into the streets of Denver. We can’t wait until we get to feel that raw energy and excitement again and see what Menert has in store next.
