Common Creation is back with another mind-blowing EP, “Effervescent Estuary” out now on INZO’s new label, Local Void

Chris Teel, AKA Common Creation, is an experimental psychedelic bass artist based out of Atlanta who makes sound for the soul. This past year, he has made grand strides in the bass music scene, making appearances at festivals like Seven Stars Festival and Infrasound and opening for huge names in the space like GRiZ and LSZEE.

Not only has he made appearances on stage at huge festivals last year, but he also made time to cook up some absolute bangers. He released two mind-bending EPs, starting with Glitch Garden. This EP is a solo project, in contrast to his collaborative project with WayBach, dubbed Sol Shadows.

Kneecap,” a single released in 2025, is another collaborative piece with Common Creation and Wattzn cooking up some throttled, distorted low-end. He also put his own spin on SoDown’s “Eye of the Mind,”for an official remix.

With Common Creation’s support slot at Red Rocks in April 2026, will he rinse this track on the big stage? This night’s lineup is stacked with some artists who seriously throw down. He will be sharing the stage with INZO, Lumasi, What So Not, and Daggz.
“Opalescent Oddities” starts things off by pulling listeners into an intricate soundscape of flutters and organic, naturalized melodies.

Following that is “Diaphanous Deluge,” the EP’s second track. “Diaphanous Deluge” is sultry and soothing, pulling apart sounds and reimagining them in ways you could never imagine. This stellar bridge between distinct, ground-breaking bass music and relaxing, hypnotizing beats is the perfect middleground for Common Creation’s art.

Then we’ve got “Soul Scape,” which takes things a level deeper on Common Creation’s Local Void-assisted Effervescent Estuary EP. “Soul Scape” is luscious, succinct, and most importantly, moving. This one will have you melting into your seat, filled with relaxed, bass-fueled elation.

To close out the EP, Common Creation brings fans into his “Lush Labyrinth.” Melodic, bubbling synths lead the track, quickly breaking down into something more menacing. It feels as if there is a certain energy looming over this final piece of the project, showcasing both Common Creation’s emotional storytelling and on-point sound design.
