VLCN, a multi-talented creative at the forefront of dubstep, is back, and he’s revisiting his roots with a fresh burst of trap energy. Released earlier this week, “Feels So Good” marks a vibrant shift in his recent discography, delivering a colorful, high-energy explosion of sound just in time for festival season.

A favorite of Excision‘s Subsidia label. VLCN is known for his crafty creativity across multiple sub-genres. Now, after years of pushing the boundaries of bass music, with standouts like “Better Now” featuring Hoang and Casey Cook, his fan-favorite rendition of “Starfall” on Illienium’s remix album, and the electrifying “Brotha Eww”, which became a staple in sets from dubstep heavyweights like  Jessica Audiffred and Ray Volpe, VLCN is looping back to where it all began—electronic trap music.

Festival season is heating up, and VLCN is igniting the match with a massive 2025 schedule. He’s already torn up The Ritz Ybor in Tampa and Myth Live in St. Paul, and is now gearing up to drop his third EP very soon. VLCN is also going to be performing at Excision’s West Coast throwdown, Bass Canyon, in August at the iconic Gorge amphitheater. On top of that, he’ll also be supporting Whales on his North American tour throughout the summer.

“I started out as a trap producer and I wanted to get back to my roots and showcase my ability to be a multi-genre artist,” says VLCN. “I’ve always felt like trap music has a certain energy to it perfect for festival season and that’s another feeling I really hoped to capture with this track in particular.” – VLCN
