Heard It Here First

Following the release of his “Fibonacci Part One” EP and his two-night run at Red Rocks last weekend, Subtronics is back! The EDM phenom has risen in the ranks to become arguably the biggest name in the dubstep music world, maybe besides Skrillex.

Today, he’s once again working with the Skrillex, Fred Again.., Chase & Status, and Fisher collaborator Flowdan, one of the most iconic names when it comes to UK grime vocals and MCing in electronic music.

For the fifth edition of his sold-out Red Rocks headline, Subtronics hosted two nights of insane lineups jam-packed with some of the hottest in the game. Night one hosted Infekt, Syzy, Basstripper b2b SOTA, VEIL and Gunpoint and night two hosted Levity, Ivy Lab, Muzz, Flozone, and Canvas for support.

The special guest for the event was none other than Flowdan himself, where he performed “Gassed Up” with Subtronics, other Flowdan classic tracks, and also the live debut of their newest collaboration, “Hunter,” which was just released officially today!

On “Hunter,” Subtronics brings the high-octane energy from the jump. Once Flowdan’s legendary ad-lib “Listen” drops, we are propelled into a different dimension, led on that journey by these two dance music heavyweights.

The build-up laced with Flowdan’s lyricism guides us to a diabolically heavy drop, curated by Subtronics. This soundscape is another monstrous festival anthem for both artists to add to their already-booming discographies.

Filthy growls line the track as Flowdan and Subtronics create a sense of impending doom, urging listeners to embrace their inner demon, let it take over, and prepare themselves for the transformation into “Hunters.”
