With the world of bass music at his fingertips, Ravenscoon has given the community many reasons to fall in love with emotional, melodic, heavy-hitting dubstep all over again. Based in Atlanta, Ravenscoon is a masterfully talented producer and DJ who boasts a broad catalog of music, including collaborations with artists such as Smoakland, Probcause, Flozone, Sully, Gardella, and more. After releasing his latest album, “Glass Orchid“, back in January, Ravenscoon continues to treat ravers across the scene with new music and killer performances at various events, including Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats Jamboree in Denver, CO, and Escape to Coconino in Flagstaff, AZ. His newest single, “VISION” with Luminyst, is the cherry on top for Ravenscoon fans this summer and demonstrates how he can both bring ravers to new dimensions and leave their soul shattered with each and every drop.

“VISION” beautifully combines ethereal melodies and uplifting lyrics to make an absolutely euphoric banger. The suspenseful buildup leads smoothly into the drop that feels like a bass lullaby, taking you through space and time. The second drop transports you into yet another portal of chilling bass and intricate melodies, which warp the mind into a waterfall of bass. Ravenscoon continues to demonstrate his immense talent for sound design with this release and proves he’s at the top of the bass music scene right now. Here’s what he had to say about the new Luminyst collab:

“VISION represents power, self love, and the realization that you are in control of your own destiny. I think it’s incredibly important, especially right now, to havepositive, uplifting, powerful messages in my music. My first original release since my Glass Orchid album continues to build upon my experimentation with wave, downtempo, and ‘slow’ dubstep. I hope this reaches anyone who needs to hear it.” – Ravenscoon

You can see Ravenscoon’s mind-crushing sets at multiple upcoming festivals this year, including Excision’s Lost Lands in Legend Valley, OH, and GRiZ’s Valley of the Seven Stars in Arrington, VA. He will also be supporting Tape B on December 6th at the Wamu Theater in Seattle, WA. Both acts were early contributors to our HIHF guest mix series. We’ve been loving Ravenscoon’s new tune “VISION” here at Heard It Here First and can’t wait to see what else he brings to the table in 2025.
