Heard It Here First

Two of the hottest names in trap music are colliding today. Ookay and BAILO are coming together for a new banger from their side project TRICKSTAR.

The collaborative side project has already worked alongside huge names like Marshmello, Lil Jon, and even the fan-favorite EDM trap icon Rickyxsan. Back in March, we loved their “Laughing Stock” EP, which featured collabs with DirtyAudio and HIHF guest mix alumni, Eater. Today, the iconic trap duo TRICKSTAR has returned to its growing fanbase with a filthy new single titled “Halfstep.” Here’s what they had to say about their most recent release:

“Halfstep was one of the first tracks we worked on when we went to Bangkok, so we just wanted to create a fun festival trap record based on the vibes of the trip!” -TRICKSTAR

The new track is set to be a part of their forthcoming EP from Steve Aoki‘s esteemed Dim Mak record label, and it comes on the heels of their official remix for DJ Snake and Space Laces‘ monumental collab, “Reloaded.”
