When you think of awe-inspiring and breathtaking bass music, many bass music fans consider Of The Trees the gold standard. His newest single, “Dolori,” tastefully uses his mastervclass sound design to incorporate natural landscapes into his music in such a beautiful way. Of The Trees has always been passionate about conservation and the beauty of nature, but he took that to new heights in many ways.
In August of 2025, Of The Trees hosted Camp Alderwild, a new two-day event in Telluride, CO, featuring support acts including Jade Cicada, Tycho, Ott, Eprom, Taiki Nulight, and more. In addition to his own mini-festival, Of The Trees also took the scene by storm with his Moonglade Tour. He also smashed several festival sets, jam-packed with IDs, at Electric Forest, Metamorphosis Festival, and GRiZ’s Valley of the Seven Stars.
To kick off 2026, Of The Trees has blessed his fans with a long-awaited ID, “Dolori,” his first official release in two years. This track is just an absolute treat for our ears.
“Dolori” is an angelic tune that is calming. It swiftly takes the listener to places they could only dream of. Every chirping bird, clap, and fluttering note is placed with graceful intent in this song and shows the power of percussion in electronic music. The melody is blissful and floats above the other elements, and makes you feel as if you are drifting through a sonic ecosystem. Of The Trees has once again created art for his fans that isn’t just a listening experience; it transcends that by allowing us to create a unique dreamscape of imagination.
This release is just a taste of what’s to come in Of The Trees’ upcoming full-length album, Moonglade Park. Along with teasing the upcoming album, Of The Trees has also wiped his Instagram and provided a link to the Moonglade Park website with cryptic messages that have more hints for what’s to come this year.
Outside of the new album, he is primed to put on spectacular shows for ravers all over the country at Ultra Music Festival, Lightning In A Bottle Festival, and Elements Music Festival.
