HD-4884 is bringing us a FILTHY new collaboration with Josh Rubin’s XLVR project for a brand new banger dubbed “Red Eye Tourniquet.

HD-4884 isn’t just a musical act, it’s the culmination of a distinct audio-visual experience, driven by HD’s visual direction and knack for cinematic storytelling. HD-4884 has collaborated with and provided official remixes for Deathpact, REAPER, and HVDES. His tunes have also been supported by huge DJs on Zeds Dead‘s Deadbeats Radio and Alison Wonderland‘s Radio Wonderland.

HD-4884 also recently performed at Belgium’s Rampage Open Air festival on Noisia‘s VISION Recordings takeover, playing ahead of Thys, founding member of the legendary and iconic DnB trio.

Today, he’s teaming up with XLVR for a disgusting new rollercoaster of a tune, “Red Eye Tourniquet,” a Neuro DnB weapon certain to set both clubs and festival crowds ablaze.

XLVR (pronounced ex-lover) is the DnB moniker of Josh Rubin, the voice behind anthems from the likes of ARMNHMR, Pixel Terror, Vincent, NEOTEK as well as working on tracks with HIHF guest mix contributors like Rebel Scum and Nikademis. Rubin is a multi-talented vocalist, DJ, songwriter and producer who has dominated the electronic scene for the past decade and we love seeing him collide with HD-4884.

“Red Eye Tourniquet” features everything you want from a HD-4884 collab. It hones in on that nostalgic, classic, electronic sound, while still pushing that disgusting, unique Neuro-DnB breakdowns. The track was first conceived over six years ago and has remained in HD-4884’s vault of unreleased bangers until today. The boisterous production needed an organic element to it and recruiting an anthemic vocal performance from Rubin was the perfect fit.

Out now through Ctrl Database Research, the beat moves frenetically around the speakers, furiously bouncing around like atoms in a particle accelerator. This tune showcases the two artists’ expertise in pushing boundaries in the experimental bass world.

In addition to the fresh new heater itself, the two artists have atopped the track with a power-packed visual component, the absolutely epic “Red Eye Tourniquet” music video. It pairs perfectly, creating an otherworld-realm filled with monsters and battle-packed action.

Here’s what HD-4884 had to say about his newest work and who he hopes for it to impact:

“I want the music to speak for people who can’t scream, who can’t release all of that frustration and uncertainty they’re carrying inside.” – HD-4884
