Vincent Antone just released his new album“The Usual Miracles”, blending underground stylings with soul-stirring melodies. The eleven-track album features previously released singles like “PBJ”, “Late Nights” and “Peace of Mind”, featuring ProbCause. Vincent brings his vortical grooves across the album, as well as introducing moodier tunes into the mix.

A multi-talented producer from Austin, Texas, Vincent intertwines old-school funk, bluesy soul and sonic bass to create his distinctive sound. I like to describe his style as if GRiZ and Daily Bread had a baby. To me, what sets Vincent Antone apart is his ability to blend live instrumentation with his electronic production. We’re seeing a huge influx of artists doing this in the bass scene, including artists like Josh Teed, Phyphr, and ST4RFOX who all include live instrumentation in both their tracks and live performances. Vincent Antone incorporating his guitar into his live sets creates such a special connection between the artist and the audience.

One of Vincents greatest strengths throughout his new album,“The Usual Miracles,”  is his thoughtful use of samples. His selections are devotions to the funk, love, and unity that deeply resonate with the EDM community, offering listeners an uplifting perspective on the world around them. This side of his artistry especially shines through his new track, “Everywhere, Always”, which was one of my favorites off the new LP.

Also featured on the album,“Fleeting Memories”  particularly resonates with me, as the sample used is something I recognize from LSDREAM’s “Artifacts Of A Higher Dimension”. That familiar sound awakens a special feeling in me, adding another layer of emotional nostalgia to the track.

Vincent shared some of his inspiration behind his new album on Instagram:

“It’s strange how quickly the extraordinary can start to feel ordinary. We get so used to the people, feelings, memories, moments, and experiences that make up our lives, that sometimes we forget how miraculous any of it is. This album is about a few of those things.” – Vincent Antone

Vincent Antone has been on a roll this past summer, turning fans heads left and right with show he throws down at. He has brought his absolute A-game to multiple fests such as Electric Forest, Shambhala, and most recently, delivering a breathtakingly stellar set at The Valley of the Seven Stars, GRiZ’s festival, just last weekend.

We can’t wait to see what the future holds for Vincent Antone, and are so excited for the debut of “The Usual Miracles”. We can’t wait for our next Vincent Antone show. In the meantime can check out our interview with him as well as his HIHF guest mix from last year’s Hulaween here.
