Heard It Here First

Slander is back! After releasing massive, neck-breaking tunes like “Move Back” and “Kneel Before Me” throughout the summer, the trap duo returns with their second single off of their forthcoming The Headbanger’s Ball EP. We recently covered the first single, their collab with Riot, and it was an absolute smash. “Running To You” is better.

Spag Heddy has worked with Slander in the past, remixing their anthem “Superhuman” and turning it into a brass-laced Dubstep banger. I got a chance to see both Spag Heddy and Slander throw down at Echostage for The Headbanger’s Ball tour, and both acts demolished their sets.

Today they bring us “Running to You”, featuring the chilling vocals of Elle Vee. The build-up is somewhat slow but becomes epic quite quickly as it transitions into an old-school, chop-down trap beat. We haven’t really heard this style much from Slander as of late, as they have been switching off between heavy dubstep and soothing Future Bass tracks, namely  “First Time” with Seven Lions.
