Heard It Here First

You may recognize Ray Volpe from his “VOLPETRON” tag present in his Boombox Cartel, Ookay, and Jauz remixes and of course in his countless originals. The Charlotte, North Carolina  DJ/producer is back today with a brand new EP titled Purpose through Never Say Die. For the title track, Volpe recruits rapper Armani Reign, who rose to fame with collabs with Zomboy, Barely Alive, and Virtual Riot back in 2014-2015.

The next track, “Warp Zone“, is a team-up with fellow producer Control Freak and the result is a hyped-up, trapped-out banger. For “Origin“, which was released a day early yesterday through esteemed Youtube channel UKF Dubstep, is a little bit out of left field and goes in more of the hard-house direction. To close out the EP, Volpe continues to bring the heat and delivers a classic dubby banger with “Get Up“. Check out the Purpose EP below!
