Dillon Francis and Eptic Drop Highly Anticipated Collab “Let It Go”

On Friday, worldwide producer/DJ Dillon Francis and heavy bass Belgian artist Eptic (Michaël Bella) finally released their collaboration called “Let It Go” via Monstercat. It was first debuted on Dillon Francis’s Instagram and Snapchat stories, and then was premiered during Francis’s mainstage set at EDC Las Vegas 2019 with Eptic on stage. The exciting collaboration seemingly stems from Eptic’s hit remix of Dillon Francis and G-Eazy‘s track “Say Less” which was a standard track at festivals throughout 2017. “Let It Go” kicks off the countdown to Eptic’s upcoming Flesh & Blood EP forthcoming via Monstercat.

Recently, Eptic’s “Southside” with DJ Snake became the jam of the summer and the most played track at Electric Daisy Carnival 2019. Dillon Francis’s 2019 releases include his collaboration with TV Noise on “EDM O’Clock”, and with Alison Wonderland on “Lost My Mind”.

Now, we’ve been blessed with “Let It Go”, a funky, upbeat moombahton track signature to Francis’ roots. “Let It Go” is a lively and danceable jam, and the perfect song for pool parties and festival season. While both Dillon Francis and Eptic vary in their own individual music productions, the two compliment each other admirably in “Let It Go”. The mid-tempo track starts as a smooth ride as distorted vocal chops chant their way to the forefront. The buildup consists of sleek resonating chords alongside horns and trumpets. It then breaks down with basslines and blaring synths as well as Dillon’s trademark moombahton form. The final drop gets much filthier and closes out with a bang.
