Heard It Here First

In the year of 2012, the universe was touched by one of the most influential projects of trap and electronic music in history. He is the catalyst of the ‘Trap Shit’ series and the father of Quality Good Records. He goes by the name UZ and he is back with an all-exclusive, highly-anticipated ‘Trinity (Deluxe Edition)’ mix LP.

UZ is one of the founding fathers of trap music.

The French DJ and producer has made a colossal crater in the reality of dance music since the start of 2012, making next year the prodigy’s tenth year anniversary of UZ. With an impressive catalog containing over two hundred releases, the cosmic creator has worked with a plethora of innovators such as T-Pain, Flosstradamus, and Zeds Dead and has endowed the masses of Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, and Ultra Music Festival over the years. His journey has been genuinely remarkable.

In 2017, he released his debut LP ‘Layers’ which reached #24 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Album chart. A year later, he dropped ‘The Rebirth’, hosting some of his hottest tracks to date like “Leave It” with Rome Fortune and “Flash” with Bok Nero. Last year, he unleashed the project’s third LP ‘Trinity’, known for the home of “Monster”, “Bang Bang”, and features from Hucci, Decap, Brothel, and UNKWN.

Fast forward to Fall 2021. UZ has returned with something extraordinarily special for his fans: a twenty-nine-track-fueled mix with eleven never-before-heard remix complements and two, brand-new IDs. This also is set to be his final project ever and we can’t wait to see what’s next for the production talent as he moves on to even bigger things.

The remixes are massive; the original edits are unpredictable; the flow of the mix is fluently phenomenal.

We don’t always see EDM parental figures share their platform with up-and-coming artists like this. UZ has made it apparent to keep an eye out for every single one of these innovators: anti., Bailo, Basstrick, bd hbt, yojas, chromonicci., Dilip, Great Dane, HWLS, LYNY, sebjin, and Shöckface. Each artist was handpicked by the forefront himself, including Audius contest winner, Shöckface, who took the cake over hundreds of other contestants.

There is not a single section to skip over. I highly suggest you find an hour of your day to rinse the full curation all the way through. You will not be disappointed.

“Next year we’ll celebrate the 10th anniversary of the UZ project. I am super proud of having kept the music flowing for all these years, and I wanted to deliver another special project for my fans. In it, I threw in 2 never before heard exclusives, all fresh and new, but also for this special occasion I asked some of my favorite producers to remix my third and last album, ‘Trinity’. We came up with 11 amazing remixes from artists such as Bailo, LYNY, Dilip, HWLS, GreatDane, etc. I couldn’t be happier with the results, but I didn’t want to just release those as a simple remix package. I have been a DJ for the last 25 years and the idea came to present this project in the form of a deluxe version of Trinity including the originals, the remixes, and my 2 last singles as a continuous 90 mins DJ mix. I wanted to recreate a different kind of album listening experience for my fans, something unique and special. I wanted the listeners to feel like they were at a show or assisting a radio live mix, but all from the comfort of their home.” – UZ
