Today, San Holo (Sander van Dijck) released his highly anticipated track “Honest”, a collaboration with the music duo Broods (vocalist Georgia Josiena and producer Caleb Allan Joseph Nott). The track, three years in the making, is finally out now via the San Holo-owned imprint Bitbird, and is his first release in over seven months.
Last week, San Holo teased the track on his twitter page, which garnered wide support:

“Honest” features the vocal talents of Georgia, while San Holo injects his signature sound to carry the track to new levels. There’s an incredible amount of emotion, and it’s one of his rawest and most vulnerable productions to date. While the meaningful lyrics remain the center of attention throughout the track, the drop features a future bass melody with audibly stunning synth arrangements.
San Holo has given us some of the best in melodic remixes as well as emotional tracks in recent years. In the time since his debut album album1 in 2018, he’s released “Lead Me Back” and “Lost Lately”, both very raw and emotional tracks. His take on electronic music has been refreshing to see, as he introduces guitars more frequently into his music and his live shows. He’s a perfect example of an artist with a unique and clear artistic vision–the same vision that has gained him massive achievements such as hosting his own headlining show at Red Rocks and playing at the main stages of festivals such as EDC and Tomorrowland.
