After this absurd video appeared on Flume‘s Instagram page a few months back, fans have been wondering if the Australian super-producer would ever release his epic remix for Eiffel 65’s infectious hit “Blue”.

Flume uploaded the remix the other night out of the blue and we haven’t been able to stop listening since. Employing his signature layered and complex sound mixed with plucks create a perfect party-starting drop.

It’s no surprise one of the most esteemed and inventive producers mainstream dance music has ever seen had no problem turning this retro classic into an absolute bop for the new generation.

With a supposed album on the way, following his singles released with Vera Blue and Toro y Moi, we’re happy with anything we can get from Flume. But we’ll be extra happy once this album drops 🙂
