Valentino Khan has dropped his latest single teasing his forthcoming EP through Mad Decent!

Just two weeks after releasing lead single “Blackmail” to widespread acclaim, the trap-oriented producer again experiments with mid-tempo bass influences on “Deathproof.”

Following up 2019’s extended play House Party – including collaborations with top flight colleagues such as Diplo and Wuki – the latest EP from Khan is anxiously anticipated by critics and fans alike.

Since bursting onto the scene with international anthem “Deep Down Low,” he has been drawing from formative influences in french electro and blog haus.

The gritty, percussive intensity of the latest track provides a harrowing yet nostalgic peek into the music that made Valentino Khan. Wrought with growling bass and industrial percussion, the havoc of “Deathproof” will surely make for another compelling addition to his impressive streaming catalog.

Promising a continued string of bi-weekly singles preceding the EP, Khan had the following to say about the release:

“My introduction to dance music over a decade ago came from passing by my brother’s room and hearing the distorted electronic sounds that were coming overseas from Europe.  This music was fresh to my American ears and created a new culture that motivated me to push boundaries as a producer.

This next series of releases blends my own sounds with the inspirations I’ve drawn from this era of dance music. In doing that, I’m looking to continue to evolve as an artist by bringing a fresh perspective to the table sonically. I truly am looking forward to sharing these upcoming records with everyone and showing why I’m so passionate about dance music.“ – Valentino Khan
