After making his Bassrush debut earlier this year on their The Prophecy compilation album, booming up and comer Floret Loret is returning to Bassrush Records for his brand new, four track Prosper EP!
Following an extremely successful year, filled with single releases, IRL and online festival appearances galore, collaborating with Dubstep legends Zeds Dead, and even gracing Hearditherefirst.blog’s very own Cabin Fever Festival as a special guest earlier this summer, Floret Loret is back with another huge accomplishment to add to his belt.
On this chilling new release, his Prosper EP, Loret creates the perfect balance of melodic and experimental bass production. With all four tracks, he continues to break down boundaries with his work, constantly venturing into new territory.
On the project’s final tune, “Abcsissions”, Loret brings out all the stops, on a supposedly ‘accidental’ tune. Regardless the intent, the results were spectacularly vivid. Check out what Floret Loret had to say about the ever-compelling “Abcsissions” below.
“This song was just experimenting with a kick being thrown through Izotope Trash over 100 times and eventually coming up with some weird sounds. The whole tune was an accident but super fun to mess around with” – Floret Loret
Loret has provided direct support in the past for huge names in the bass music world, ranging from Minnesota to G Jones to Eprom. It’s clear that this young talent has a massive future ahead of him. You know we’ll continue to cover any new heat he provides us as he continues to push boundaries and blow past expectations.
Keep an eye/ear out for new music from Floret Loret, hopefully soon, and for now, enjoy his magical and masterful Prosper EP, below!
