Black and white dreams come true as G Jones debuts his newest experimental masterpiece, “Paths”.

G Jones, known as a pioneer of the experimental bass music that we love today, unveiled his Sophomore LP for listeners via his own label, Illusory Records earlier today. He’s earned praise from the biggest names in dance music, ranging from Porter Robinson to Aphex Twin. His new full-length journey of an album, “Paths,” provides eleven beautifully designed tracks that help paint the picture of the monochromatic life that G Jones portrays within his music.

From ambient to IDM to breakbeat and tons more subgenres, “Paths” has a little bit for everyone. It’s an eclectic palette of G Jones’ artistry. His debut album “The Ineffable Truth” gave fans a look into his mind once and he gives us just as strong of a glimpse into his creativity on “Paths,” building even more harrowing and beautiful soundscapes for us to get lost within.

Each track on “Paths” takes listeners on a unique voyage through different levels of the unique producer’s styles, from harmonious and melodic to hard-hitting and glitchy. It’s a true black-and-white masterpiece. Here’s what G Jones had to say about the new album:

“I’ve been working on the Paths Live show all year, remixing and reformatting songs from Paths as well as the rest of my catalog for live performance, and also doing multi-day IRL work sessions with my team of visual collaborators, building this new show from scratch. I can hardly contain my excitement about it all. I’ve been discovering so many new ways to perform my songs in a live context, and really believe that the audiovisual aspect of the show will be far beyond anything we’ve done before.

I’m feeling extremely grateful for my core visuals team: Shinichiro Fujita, Alec Donkin, Jayson Esguerra, Mike Kluge, and Lauren Marrone, who are all working so hard to help me hone and execute these ideas. Getting to debut Paths Live at Red Rocks is an actual dream come true for me, and I want to say a deeply heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported my music and attended my shows over the years for making this dream a reality.” – G Jones
