Two booming up and comers are linking up today for a massive new release from Liquid Stranger‘s esteemed Wakaan label.
Guilt Chip is an Oklahoma based artist who is well-known for his unparalleled texture and distorted edge within his work.
SUAHN is an artist who is also a known boundary-pusher and an extremely innovative producer. He also is the founder of post-hardcore band Pianos Become The Teeth. No stranger to live performances, SUAHN appeared as support for Dubloadz’ 2019 House of Ghosts tour.
Today, the two are coming together for an insane new release, their Absolute Ruin EP. The project features four ground-breaking production efforts from the young minds. Each track goes harder than the one before it and it’s sure to be an absolute hit with bass music fans across the world.
Check out what SUAHN had to say about the new release:
“Absolute Ruin is, to date, my favorite body of work I have been a part of. When Blake and I first met, we were casually passing songs back and forth until we both realized that we had the same taste for music that pushed everything to its absolute edge. When we started collaborating together it was effortless. There were no limits since we both wanted to “go further” or try to push past what a lot would feel uncomfortable doing. When combining Guilt Chips weaponized dialup modem bass music with my paranoid and distorted acid, I like to think we created something that feels like falling into a sinkhole and not knowing when you’re going to hit the bottom.” – SUAHN
This deep dive into disgusting and complex sound design is a great fit for Wakaan and it’s a testament to both artists’ hard work and unique production style.
